MAC Cremestick liners
Has anyone tried the new Cremestick liners yet? Do they hold lipstick in like the regular MAC liners? Do they last? What are the plusses/minuses versus the normal pencil liners? I am thinking of getting Plum Soft for my Mystic lipstick and Velvetta for my Dark Sude lipstick.

Re: MAC Cremestick liners
I haven't kept them long enough on my lips yet to test the lasting power. But they are much more comfortable to apply than the regular liners. The regular pencils are very dry and drag the skin, but these ones roll right on. This is nice, but not unique, as I find Estee Lauder pencils and Cover Girl Outlast Smoothwear pencils apply very smoothly as well.
But the containers can be returned to Back 2 Mac. ![]() |

Re: MAC Cremestick liners
Welcome to MUT! I agree that the new cremestick liners do go on much smoother and are softer. I can't honestly say that they last longer though. I don't care for the plasticy smell/taste but I guess it dissipates once you put on a l/s.

Re: MAC Cremestick liners
Hi, I haven't tried the MAC Cremestick liners yet, but I love the idea that these have an automatic twist up and you don't need a sharpener for them! I spoke with a MAC artist about these not too long ago and she said these are creamier and longer lasting than their regular lip pencils. I may have to give these a try soon.

Re: MAC Cremestick liners
I have Plum Soft and love it. It stays on longer than MAC's Plum lipliner pencil, but not drastically longer. I tend to blend my l/l a great deal though, so as soon as my lipstick wears off, so does the liner.
