A MAC surprise... yay!
As I braved the summer afternoon heat in Manhattan to get a MAC Paint Bare Canvas from my fave MAC Store, a wonderful surprise was waiting for me....
.... a handful of MAC Barbie dolls were in the counter waiting for me to pick one up. And sure enough, I grabbed one! I was not able to get a MAC Barbie doll when it was released last February and I was not passing this chance. I wanted to grab two but I had to settle for one coz I already spent a fortune on MAC Flashtronic MSFs and mineralize eyeshadows.... and IN 3D Glass Lip Gloss... yes, these 3D Glass glosses are fabulous! MAC Barbie is definitely going to be welcomed by my other Barbie dolls.... Yehey!

I saw a few at the MAC store I went to two weeks ago. I have no use for barbies though. :'D

Yes, the 3D Glass Lip Glosses are fabulous! I am not a big fan of MAC glosses as I find them too sticky for my taste. You can just imagine what mess it does with my long hair! I actually had to resort to Lipgelee which is okay, I guess.
The 3D Glass glosses formulation, however, is different. I like it.... a lot! I am using Racy now and am loving it! Someone from Spektra recommended it. Very pretty, indeed! Yay! Quote:

Um, why did you "have to resort" to wearing Lipgelee? Can you for some reason not wear any lip products but MAC?

My wallet was so dented from the Flashtronic/Rushmetal collection that I totally forgot about 3D coming out (lol) Definitely going to stop by the mac store this weekend and see if there's any goodies I can pick up. Congrats on getting the doll!

Yes. exactly! MAC lipglass is way too sticky for me and I only have 1 lipgelee. For lipglosses, I use Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector and Cle de Peau glosses.
But I do like the new MAC 3D Glass lipgloss and I like it a lot! Quote:

Wow I didn't know they were out that soon. I didn't see them at the counter or the store when I went a few days ago.
I noticed they still have lots of barbies at the freestanding store and thought that was a bit weird. |

Thank you! I swear you'll be more broke when you see 3D Glass Gloss. They're amazing! And this is coming from someone who does not like MAC lipglosses! I just put on TouchPoint and I can't believe how pretty it is on my lips It's not overly thick but not too light to be sheer. It's just how I prefer a gloss to be. Am definitely getting some more for backups. And the Barbie Doll is a cutie! Quote:
