Re: make up brushes

The only cheap brushes I used are from Body Shop, but now I don't use them because I found how important is to have good qualities of brushes!! The difference between Body Shop's and the higher price brushes are that the cheap are from synthetic hair and many times are not so soft are the more expensive also the hair after a long time start falling and they don't usually help the application of your product!!

Re: make up brushes

I have some Essence of Beauty (CVS) brushes, some Perfection (Walgreens) brushes, and some Sonia Kashuk (Target) brushes...

ALL OF THEM ARE FANTASTIC!! I have the foundation/concealer brush duo from Perfection and it is VERY NICE!! Honestly comparable to MAC...

Sonia Kashuk I have some face brushes and a couple of eye brushes, and I LOVE them! The blush and powder brushes are great, fantastic bristles...

Essence of Beauty I have a couple of the double packs of eye brushes from them. Where it has 2 eye brushes in one package. They are also VERY VERY nice brushes for the price. I am quite impressed...

These are real quality brushes you will love, so buy them up! You can save up for MAC brushes like I am, and still have very good brushes to work with!

I have 3 Essence of Beauty brushes and they are great. I also have The Bare Esscentuals flawless application brush which I also love.

Re: make up brushes

I have several Sonia Kashuk brushes and love them ... they are made of soft natural hair and they haven't shed a single hair yet! I especially noticed a difference with the powder brush when I switched from using a synthetic hair brush to Sonia Kashuk, I get a much more even application of loose powder now! And they are all at a great price -- their most expensive brush is the powder brush at only $12, and the smallest eyeshadow brushes are around $4-$5.

I also love Sonia Kashuk's brushes! I have the travel kit (8 brushes for $15.00). They're high quality, and haven't "shed" yet!

Re: make up brushes

My S.K. brushes don't shed either, and I wash mine every single time I use them...

If I use them every day, they get washed every day. I hate using a "dirty" brush, esp a face brush...
