Makeup doubt!
hi girls
i bought lancome's normal skin care set...should i use cleanser(washed off),toner, sensation totale(they said its like a primer) and moisturiser before applying foundation or is it necessary if i just use a mac primer before foundation and apply all those stuff at night...which way is the best...pls help me out in this as i am leaving for my europe vacation and want to look really good! |

Re: Makeup doubt!
Honestly you can do whatever you want... Although I wash my face twice a day and do basically all the things you listed above... One thing I would mention is that I would suggest you putting on your moisturizer before you put on the primer...
Also, you might not want to use two types of primer (L'ancome and MAC) at the same time...It might be overload for your skin... If you want, you can try only washing, toning and moisturizing at night, and then in the morning moisturizing and priming only. Although personally I like putting makeup on a fresh washed face better...

Re: Makeup doubt!
I wash, tone, and moisturise. Then i use a tissue to pat off any excess moisturiser. Then apply primer, then sunscreen. Mine is a tinted sunscreen so i use it as foundation, then eye primer, then makeup.
I don't know if that is exactly what you were asking, but you might want to go with the primer that you are used to instead of trying out something totally new before/during a big trip. When are you leaving? Tell us more about yor trip...!

Re: Makeup doubt!
You may want to use the Lancome primer you have. Did you check the reviews on it?
I thought you already had a MAC primer that you liked. I misunderstood. OOPS!

Re: Makeup doubt!
The Smashbox Photofinish primer is good and so is one by Laura Mercier... You can try either one of those...
