Makeup and Freckles?!

hey guys!
Well, this one is for all of y'all who have freckles on your face and a less than perfect complexion!
I've got quite a bit of freckles on my face (cheeks and nose mainly, but some on my chin too) and I get a few blemishes in those areas. I'd like to start embracing my freckles more instead of wearning foundation over them to cover up my facial imperfections. It seems that even the lightest foundation over your freckles can make your face (if you have freckles) look a little "dirty" and dark.
I currently use pure makeup foundation from maybelline (on my chin and nose mostly, not all over!) , an occasional spot of clinique advanced concealer, see through loose powder from clinique to get rid of shine (summer

!) and Physicians Formula powder highlighter (the presed power thats like green, pink, white and cream to give my face some natural color)
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make my face look more natural yet cover up blemishes?

I have the exact same problem. I have freckles all on my cheeks and nose and all I really do is try to cover them. If there's another way to embrace them please let me know also

Try mineral makeup. I wouldn't believe it works as well as it does myself if I hadn't tried it myself. Check into Everyday Minerals (EDM). They offer free samples at www.everydayminerals.com. Best of luck girls!

Maybe use a sheer foundation/light coverage? And use concealer to cover up blemishes?

These sound like good suggestions. By the way, look closely at t.v. actors and you will see the same person both with and without freckles sometimes in the same program.

Yeah, I've the same problem too. A big thank you to Aquilah. I have BE but it doesn't work very well on me. Hopefully I got surprising results from the EDM samples.

Bare Escentuals - mineral makeup. Seems like the only one that works for me and my star spangled face.
Everything else makes me look 'dirty' and grey
