Makeup lover

I've been a makeup lover for YEARS!
I lovee and adore putting on and playing with makeup.. Sephora is my heaven!

I'm just now learning how to apply eyeshadow the "correct" way... with different colors.

Are there classes out there that help teach techniques?
I'm in cosmetology school now but that only teaches the basics.. I want to learn tricks!

Re: Makeup lover

i know that some MAC sotres/counters have seminars. but you kind of have to ask around because they don't have them all of the time. sometimesthey have them when new collections come out.

or you can get a bunch of makeovers done by mac muas. lol. but those cost $40 in product each time.

Re: Makeup lover

Hiya jaimelynn83, i reckon the best tips and tricks are the one's you will pick up here on MuT. At least they are being tested on real people and not just some handy air brush work seen on makeup adverts nowadays. like applying a metallic eyeshdow to the inner eyes to open the eyes up, like a v shape and a dab of hightlghter under the brow looks great too.Youll find tons of little tips as you go along.

Re: Makeup lover

The next time you're at a bookstore, you may want to look at books from Bobbi Brown, Kevyn Aucoin, and Francois Nars. Their books have lots of good ideas. Look through them first and see what you like. I like "Making Faces" by Kevyn Aucoin.

I agree. Just buy some of these books and practice doing them. You can even experiment on your own. U can learn a lot on what works and doesn't work for you.
