Monistat Chafing Gel Relief as a Primer??

Has anyone tried this? I have really sensitive skin so I don't know if I should try this or not. But I heard its a great substitute for smashbox photo finish primer since it practically has the same ingredients, plus its only $5-$7. Let me know if anyone uses this.

I use it as a primer and I love it. I have tested several primers against this one including Smashbox, Make Up For Ever and MAC and this one performs as well if not better. The Glam Shack: Face Primer Roundup - Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel

I use it and love it.... Getting harder to find at the local drug stores but Wal-mart has a large supply last time I was in there... $5 a tube

I haven't tried this one yet - where did you hear about it as a substitute for Smashbox?! I love beauty tricks that save your skin and your budget! Do you know any other ones?

I read your review! So in the end, the chafing gel wasn't the reason you broke you right.

No. I really abused my skin for about two weeks by testing a different primer everyday. I should have tested each primer for a week then switched to a new one.

For the most part all primers are dimethicone (silicone) with some non essential additives (perfumes, moisturizers, etc.) Smashbox was my primary primer then I switch to a hair polish (proclaim). After testing several differnent primers I like the Monistat the most. Because of it's thickness and texture it creates the ideal surface for makeup.

I use it sometimes.... It makes such a difference on how your foundation looks... I love it!

Just make sure you cleanse properly when removing your makeup as it can lead to breakouts if any is left on the skin...

I was disappointed that this didn't work for me at all... I was super greasy in about 2 hours time.

I use it an really like it. I had been using MUFE HD primer for a while but I have started breaking out. I switched back to monistat and my skin is settling down, so I think I will stick with it for a while.

It's my first face primer and it works fine for me, but I have nothing to compare it to.

My MMU goes on smoother than when when I was using only my moisturizer underneath.
