New easy depotting method
SO I did depot all but three of my mac eyeshadow because one was from the lure collection which I am not sure if I want to lose the seaform packaging and because I need another pallete ...
I did using a scissor to remove it from the flip lid thing then I put it on a metal spatula like the one you use to flip pancakes which you can get from a 99 cent store because it will be ruined but I saved it for future depotting of LE eyeshadow and therefore I was able to do more than one at a time............................ YEAH IT WAS SO EASY AND NONE WERE RUINED trick is to have it over the stove until the black part starts melting then take it off the stove it is still hot so it will melt more off the fire................so so so easy I love grouping the colors together I have a purple/pink pallete a bronze/brown pallete and a blue/green pallete............. BEST PART IS I HAVE 10 empties and when I get the empty pallete tomorrow I will have twelve empties good for 2 lipstick ...unfortunately I dont like lipstick I am a lipglass girl ![]()

Re: New easy depotting method
I just don't understand this whole depotting thing. I mean, how to do it. I'm not planning on doing it, but I still don't know how. I'd probably destroy my e/s

Re: New easy depotting method
There's a tutorial on doing it with the candle method in the Makeup Tutorials section. I haven't done it yet, but I will as soon as I get my hands on some palettes LOL!

Re: New easy depotting method
Depotting is when you remove the pan of the eyeshadow or blush from its plastic casing in order to put the pan on a palette.

Re: New easy depotting method
I havent tried it yet either.. I do want to try it though now that I have some new colors, I was going to use the blow dryer method though because I want to keep one empty as a travel container.. dont remember where I read the blow dryer method from though *scratches head*
