New to makeup
I am new to the makeup sceen. I use cover girl but i am not that sure how to use it. I dont know how to apply it so that I dont look like a cake with layers of makeup. also I live in tennessee it is hott what can I use to still look cool in the heat!!!???????

I'm from Texas (transplanted in Utah right now) and the only thing I could wear without sweating and feeling icky in the southern heat was Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals foundation. It goes on light and doesn't make my face feel gross. Its the only mineral makeup I have tried and I'm sure the other brands are good too.

I'd like to suggest, a face primer before you put on your foundation, and blotting papers. If you like covergirl(which is cool cause I loved that brand too, when I started wearing Make up!) You should go on their site, you can take a quiz that helps find the right foundation for your skin, also there are quizes that will help you find the right colors to flatter you. I really love their blushers.
