When I got my NYX eye shadows home from the store I found that one of the colors had broken/shattered in between the store and my house. Is this unusual and/or a problem (other than the mess when I open the container)? When this happened with another brand, the MUA told me this was not uncommon with highly pigmented products. Should I keep this and transfer the powder to another container, or return it for a replacement (Yeah, I know, kind of a whiney complaint).

I know NYX e/s can be easily broken as they are softer and buttery than others. If you have reciept I would try to return it first and if not possible, there are ways to mend it if you're interested.

If you're not comfortable doing this, you can always return it or just crush it up and use it as a loose powder.

StereoXGirl, I so did not know you could repair broken eye shadows and blushes this way. That is so cool! I may have to break a shadow I'm not fond of anymore and see how my repair goes before I try this out on the NYX. If it doesn't work out, I'll probably return the NYX due to the mess and waste factor. Thanks for your help!
