hi i really need help with my eyelashes.the problem is they are so curly they are curled right back unto themselves,almost forming a circle.it makes applying mascara and eyeliner pretty difficult.is there any way or anything i can use to sort of straighten them out.thanks in advance.

Maybe if you try applying mascara to the back of your lashes, the mascara will help weigh your lashes down and make them less curly?

I suppose it's worth a shot.

hold a credit card behind your lashes and put mascara....

I agree with the suggestions above. I guess you could also try putting them between 2 pieces of cardboard when they're wet from the shower and flattening them? LOL.

I reckon you're most likely to get them straight when they're wet.

go to a place which does perming, and ask them if they can use the product to 'flatten' or relax the lashes. i know someone who tried it and i think it gave the most perfect curl.

I would be scared to use relaxers near my eye! But I agree with pinksugar that you probably have the best chances when they are wet. I think that your lashes sound cool though!

My lashes are super curly like that as well I find what works for me is brushing them out with a clean mascara wand before applying mascara, and then always putting a couple coats on the back on them before I go over the front (I hope that made sense..)
Find a good mascara that dosnt clump (I love CG Lash Exact & Maybellines Define a Lash) and do plenty of coats, that way they'll stay a little straighter but still have a nice curve, hey its a plus we never really need a lash curler!

Oh and if its hard to put on eyeliner because your lashes are in the way try doing your mascara first and then the eyeliner, this is how I do it and it works fine.

And you could always try falsies, for me its sometimes easier than dealing with my curly eyelashes

i'd be afraid to put relaxers near my eyes too...but to each his..or her..own.

I would definitly put the mascara on the back of my lashes to weight them down. and i would use a volumizing mascara for the weight

I wish my lashes are curly. its soooo straight, even i curl it and put mascara, its still straight!

yah its annoying for me to put on waterproof liner, some how, it ends up on the lashes and solidifies a whole bunch together, and doesnt go away! boo

basically, you can use the perm formula to shape the eyelash to a curl, or flatten it out. that is what i meant by 'relaxing'. i asked my beautician if it could be done and she advised me it just depends how you 'set' it.

I wish I had overly curly lashes. Relaxers used too close to the eyes can cause blindness!
