Recycle beauty products?

Since I am new to this if this is in the wrong place please move it! My question is I have a ton of old makeup and nail polish that I want to get rid of. I am wondering if there is any place that I can recycle these products? I am sure I am not the only person I have thought of this. I would much rather re cycle then just throw away. If anyone knows of any way/place to do so please let me know!

Re: Recycle beauty products?

i know there are a few women's charities, say for battered women, that will take cosmetics and beauty products, but i have no idea how to find these places or if the tiems need to be brand new.

i just realized that this post is of no help whatsoever!

Re: Recycle beauty products?

I would think most cosmetic items are not recyclable (other than nail polish) just from the germ factor.
