Replacement for Lancome's Maquicontrole?
Hi Everyone,
I've used Lancome's Maquicontrole for years, but it's been discontinued along with it's Loreal equivalent. Any advice for a replacement? I have fair to light medium, oily skin with some redness and this gave me perfect coverage. KayCee |

Re: Replacement for Lancome's Maquicontrole?
I used Maquicontrole several years ago when my skin was more oily. Are they replacing it with anything?
What about trying Prescriptives (I think it is called Virtual Matte). They have great foundations and Virtual Matte is made especially for oilier skin types. Also, I've heard good things on these boards about MAC's blot powder. That is supposed to be good as well for absorbing the oilies. Good luck with your search. I am sure the ladies will have some other suggestions for you! |

Re: Replacement for Lancome's Maquicontrole?
Thanks everyone! According to my local Lancome counter, the replacement is Teint Idole Ultra. I had tried Teint Idole when it first came out and didn't like it nearly as much as Maquicontrole, but they claim the Ultra version is much improved. So, I guess I'll give that a try when my last bottle of Maquicontrole runs out. I'm also wondering if L'Oreal will come out with an equivalent.
