Like Bella said, you need at least 4 letters. If you are looking for differences between NW and NC, you probably don't want to search for "MAC" only because that's too general.
Like mago said, think of it has Not Warm and Not Cool, though that's not what it stands for. So if you have yellow tones, you're a NC. Pink tones are NW.

Thanks everyone! It's very confusing, but I got it now.
P.S. Regarding the
search--I did several variations for my
search: MAC color, NW or NC colors, MAC tones, MAC shades, MAC color guide... etc. MAC never came up, but the second word to the
search did. So, color is too general. Colors is too general. Tones is too general. Color guide is too general. I decided to just try plain MAC (even though that was too general as well) to see if it brought anything up, and it didn't.
Anyways, I bought some concealer online and it is on its way! Hooray.
