Sephora.com sucks...
Am I the only one who thinks their site sucks? It's the SLOWEST site ever to load up. It's not the best navigator, and they don' make it easy to get to Sale items. PLUS- if you are no longer going to carry something- don't say it's out of stock- TAKE IT OFF THE SITE!
I contemplated if this should be a rant, but I think it's more makeup-related than anything.
I am glad my friend Gina turned down the position of Web Producer with sephora.com, but at the same time, she may have saved that dang site.

Re: Sephora.com sucks...
soo....its not that slow for me to load up. i dont visit it that often but i am a fan of how when you go in to look at eyeshadows it has a superzoom feature that lets you see every single detail. but in some cases i believe that the makeup itself is pretty cheap...like the palettes for like the "smokey eyes" or "blue eyes" etc. because the ones that they chose to take pictures of were even busted up. the ones that get photographed are supposed to be the neatest of the bunch that they had on hand. so, that probably tells how gently & professionally they are shipped. & a lot of them [ive been to the store to try out shades] seem really kidlike. like they would only be suitable for children & adults with poor judgment. but i am mainly talking about the poorly packaged, poorly shipped, & poorly made palettes. not everything. a lot of their stuff is actually good. some just looks uber cheap & way not worth the price.

Re: Sephora.com sucks...
well at least you carry more brands than the stupid french website, this one has a speciality of not carrying all the brands you can find in the physical stores, and sometimes not even all the products of that brand. they recently add Shiseido though ( yay...).
and they're incredibly low at updating the new UD stuff on the website. it's really frustrating to see something new coming up on MuT, and then wait until France has it. and as i'm not gonna stop visiting MuT... BETTER GET IT FASTER !!!

Re: Sephora.com sucks...
Really? I haven't had any problems!
I usually prefer to shop in-store, though. Just because I get my items right away! Muahahaha!

I agree. Sometimes the site is way too slow.

Re: Sephora.com sucks...
It works fine for me, but the absolute slowest to load by a mile, for me at least, is stila. Does anyone else experience this?

Re: Sephora.com sucks...
hmmm i've never purchased anything from Sephora (probably a good thing huh?) but I've never had issues with the site itself. it doesn't load slowly for me and i find the navigation pretty easy to handle. that's just my opinion though.

Re: Sephora.com sucks...
It loads fine for me, I just think the site is a bit higgelty piggelty, and it's not always easy to locate things on there, apart from that it's ok.

Re: Sephora.com sucks...
lol its better online than the store, most sephora employees have their heads stuck way too far up their @$$es to even help out. i never let a stupid ditsy sephora worker talk down at me,i will rip them apart if they say anything to me,like today, the store manager at a sephora near me comes by and asks "are these for your girlfriend?" and i reply with an attitude saying "no,its for myself but then again i don't see how that is any of your fk'n business" and she simply walks away..thats how you should treat most sephora employees except the friendly nice ones who try their best to help out

Re: Sephora.com sucks...
I don't have a problem with it loading, but it does irritate me that they never seem to offer free shipping without a minimum and I agree that they list stuff as out of stock, I sign up for an email when it's back in, then 2 weeks later I get an email saying it's been discontinued! THAT bugs the crap out of me!!
