Shopping in your stash
Shopping in my stash is one of my favorite things to do! If I ever feel bored with my makeup or if I really want to buy something new I go to my stash and dig around to find something I haven't used in a while. It feels like getting something new, but nothing is wasted and no money spent. My most recent rediscovery was my Almay Whippd Gloss in red. I am so in love with this gloss!! The texture is really nice and it is such a pretty red color on me. I wore it today over a red-brown lipstick. Funny thing, I put the lipstick on and then decided it was more brown than I wanted today, so I just put the red gloss over to get a nicer color.
But anyway, shopping in your own stash is so much fun. I challenge you all to go find something in your stash that you forgot you had!

Re: Shopping in your stash
That is an awesome idea. I need to do that more often. I just keep buying and adding more to the mix! I will do that tomorrow, see what gems I can find.

I'm guilty of NOT shopping in my stash... It's not a huge one anymore either though... Oh wait, it never was! LOL!

Re: Shopping in your stash
I'm pretty guilty of not shopping in my stash. Sometimes, I am in Wal-Mart or CVS and don't really have any intentions of getting make-up, but somehow lipgloss, blush, etc ends up in my cart. I have some stuff that I have hardly used or only worn once, so next time I want something new I'll shop in my stash!! hehe

Re: Shopping in your stash
I had originally picked up MACs Tigerlilly/Bloomsberry at my CCO as a highlighter for my cheeks. Afterwards I didn't like it and was too lazy to take it back. Well today I was playing in my makeup and used it as a highlighter for my browbones and it is amazing. Another thing I picked up again was my Midtone Sepia CCB. I had bought it as an eyeshadow base and it didn't stay on my oily eyelids but yesterday I read the Paints +CCB thread that MACGoddess posted and it really works! I paired it withTanRay and it's awesome...now I don't feel guilty about buying things and not using them !
