I'm just struggling to find a blusher (yes I am obsessed with blusher! I love it!) to match up to it. I was wondering whether NARS Passion might look like it? I also have Maybelline expert wear in Sierra Sand - if I use this one is it best to use it without a bronzer? maybe just use a little of this blusher on my forehead and nose instead? It is a bronzy colour and sorta matches the colour of my freckles which looks kinda cute! What do you think?

ha ha! bless you! I just think it always looks boring on my skin so thought maybe i was using the wrong colours or not applying it right. I think maybe I'm just used to seeing a pinky flush colour on my cheeks (which IMO is so much prettier!) that it just seems weird not having any colour except bronze on my skin!
I'd love to know what blusher Sienna Miller uses though - I have a very similar skin tone to her and her blusher always looks sophisticated and not childlike like mine always seems to look!I read somewhere that pink blusher scares men too! Not sure how true that is?!
IMO sophisticated make up is flawless skin, champagne coloured e/s, black liner (real thin line), mascara, lipliner & lipgloss!
totally my opinion of sophistication as well! i think sienna's blush color could be incorporated into that look as well. it is a really lovely color - i love her makeup in that pic! LOVE sienna miller! she has awesome style!
Well I put that Maybellie Sierra Sand on this morning and my face looks far from sophisticated! More like tangoed!!! lol! Won't be using that again! Think'll I'll just have to stick to my pink blusher! I can't seem to find anything that I think looks nice! I love my Bourjois blusher but i can't seem to pick up much pigment so I end up rubbing my brush in to it and end up looking red faced because I've applied so much! I loved MAC's Dollygirl but it doesnt seem to apply well over bronzer - it ends up looking dirty for some reason? Anyone else notice this?
Try to change the way you put the blush . You could instead of smiling trying to make a sucction movement (like when you're miming a fish) or maybe mixing the bronzer with loose powder. I have a little liquid golden blush from L'oreal which is too light for my light-to-medium yellowey skin, so it might be ok for you . I'll take some pics of it and show you
EDIT:
now the piccies

when i wanna look sophisticated, i use bronze colors on my cheeks, as well, and black liner, and a nude/beige lipgloss/stick. that's what i think of when i think sophisticated! i wore it when i was a bride's maid and saw how nice it looked and that's what really got me into makeup.
i wouldn't go with passion. it's very sheer. i thought it was just me, but when i went to the nars counter not too long ago, the MA said the same thing and i didn't even tell her what i thought of it. i'd say go with nars's zen or mac's sunbasque.
here's a pic of passion, zen, and sunbasque i just uploaded...
hope that helps!

Excellent suggestions ladies! I'm really thankful for all of them!
Jennifer I think you're right about bronzey colours on the cheeks but do I just put it on my cheeks and avoid putting anything on my forehead? I have the St Tropez bronzer could this be used as a blusher?

sure it can, and in a lot of cases actually looks more natural than blusher. have you checked out physican's formula. i wear their bronzer as a pressed powder over my liquid foundation and it looks great. can't beat the price either. available at cvs. hope this helps!

thank you for the rec! unfortunately we don't have CVS in the UK or Physician's formula! Wish we did because I've heard a lot about it!
