Storing UDPP

My mom was out of town this past weekend for a wedding and she wanted to take my UDPP with her so I put a little bit in a container for myself and gave the bottle to my mom. I used it the next day and the bit that I had put into the container was already starting to get dry.

This container was actually a sample container I received from Benefit for a sample of their e/s primer.

Anways long story short, I was actually going to use that container to put the rest of the UDPP when it no longer starts coming out from the wand but now I'm thinking I shouldn't from what it had done to that little bit.

So basically my question is,

Where/How do you store your UDPP after you take it out from it's original bottle, so it doesn't dry out?

I know eventually it will dry out well because that's life.. but after a day?

Re: Storing UDPP

I stored mine in a tiny sample jar (its glass) of some moisturiser. I have a pic on my notebook. Its been in there for 2 months now and its still fine. It seals very well.

Re: Storing UDPP

I put mine in a plastic thing. It's gotten a bit dry, but still very, very usable, and I've had it in there for about two or three months.

Re: Storing UDPP

I don't have any empty glass jars, so I put it in a regular 10 gram jar with a little piece of saran wrap under the lid. When I finally use up a MAC Tendertone, I'll put it in there!

Re: Storing UDPP

ok so i guess it's kinda normal if it gets a little thicker.

But maybe glass would be better because it seals in the moisture

Re: Storing UDPP

I have mine in a plastic container. It's a container for a Carmex type product(different name) that I cleaned out. I used it because it looked like it sealed tight.

Re: Storing UDPP

Mines has gotten a bit dryer putting it in a plastic, sample jar. But it still works very much so. I have no complaints.

Re: Storing UDPP

You have to put it in a glass jar. I put mine in a tendertone jar. You can also use a fluidline jar as well. So you basically must put it in a glass jar.

Re: Storing UDPP

I put mine in an empty fluidline jar and it's kept very well. The only bad thing was it wasn't big enough to hold all of it. I put the excess in a depotted mac eyeshadow but it dried up really quickly and I had to throw it out.

Re: Storing UDPP

I keep mine in a sample jar i got at Sephora (the little white stuff). It's sealed tight so i haven't noticed any real change in the texture.

Re: Storing UDPP

I would suggest putting it in a glass jar. I guess it's just like the fluidlines. I'm sure it's the reason they are stored in the glass container as well.
