TARTE's Smooth Operator, anyone else a fan?

I decided to try this after reading so many great things about it, a little heavier than a tinted moisturizer, this is my new HG foundation. They have a cool celebrity color chart (one error, Naomi Campbell is cover up not guise). I emailed them about the error and they haven't fixed it yet, lol.

Oh this looks interesting!! I should've known I'd be interested. I'll have to see if I can't find this on Ebay for cheaper, as I don't want to pay retail for it, but I'd love to try it!

I haven't tried this product but I did just get a try me kit for tarte products and I LOVE the 24.7 lip tint! I also just got Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, but haven't tried it yet.

Re: TARTE's Smooth Operator, anyone else a fan?

my sister uses it and loves it. i tried it once, too, and it worked really well, but the shade was too light. my sister is PALE and this was one of the few foundations light enough for her.

Re: TARTE's Smooth Operator, anyone else a fan?

i'm thinking of trying this since i read about how it never cakes. Just wondering though is this the kind of foundation i can just apply to certain areas? I really only want to cover some of my chin and cheek areas ( slight redness). I don't like the feel of make-up so I don't wanna apply it to my whole face, Can i do that or will it look patchy?

it's fine to do that! this foundation, i find, just blends into the skin so well.
