Toofacin' it up!

TWO NEW YUMMY LOOKING PRODUCTS FROM TOO FACED!

Too Faced Absolutely Invisible Candlelight Powder, $25

WHAT IT IS:
A multi-tasking translucent powder infused with illuminating gold powder.

WHAT IT DOES:
Inspired by actual candlelight, this product is formulated to set makeup while imparting a soft-focused glow. For all its immediate, "glowing" results, it's also packed with a powerful dose of skin-saving antioxidants that protect and soothe tired skin as the golden-peachy tone warms and illuminates any complexion—reducing the appearance of fine lines and imperfections.

COLOR:
Sheer Gold

WHAT ROODIE(ME) THINKS:
Well for me Too Faced could not have came out with this product at a better time since I've been searching for a nice setting powder for about a month now! What first caught my eye about this product was the new chic packaging!! I am in love with the white/gold packaging! I also really like the description of the product and the powder looks yummy and fabulous! I ordered this yesterday online and I can not wait for it to arrive so I can try! I have a good feeling that this one actually living up to the fabulously written description(keep fingers crossed, DON'T LET ME DOWN TOO FACED!!!).

Too Faced Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer, $30

WHAT IT IS:
A makeup primer scientifically formulated to achieve the look of flawless skin without makeup.

WHAT IT DOES:
This one-of a-kind makeup primer was scientifically formulated to wear alone or under bronzers and foundation powders for a look of flawless skin without makeup. Vitamins A & C, Mulberry extract, and a powerful dose of Retinol virtually banish pores while tired skin is left hydrated, firmer, and detoxified. Primed & Poreless creates the perfect canvas to allow powders, bronzers, and foundations to slide seamlessly on the skin—delivering a flawless and perfectly blended look that stay in place all day. Skin appears brighter, fresher, and younger.

WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW:
It looks great on any skintone! The nude tone becomes invisible once applied.

WHAT ROODIE(ME) THINKS:
*SIGH* as much as I was tempted to also order this (even though some may argue that I have more primers than one would need to last easily a good two years) I ended up not ordering the primer and waiting on trying out the powder first to see if I like the powder enough to give the primer a try. My eldest brother would be very proud since I usually buy things without taking a second glance and end up not liking it and I never like returning(lazy and i don't like the attitude/looks i get when i return) so I always end up giving things away and losing money, so if I like the powder I will definitely give the primer a shot! Why did I decide to try the powder over the primer first, You ask? Well like I said I already own one too many primers and I was in search for a good finishing powder!

QUESTIONS:
-What do you think of the two products from what you see so far?

-Anyone tried any of them yet? I would love to see reviews to help me & others!

-Whats your favorite Too Faced product?

Re: Toofacin' it up!

The Candlelight powder looks lush, if they bring it out in the UK I'll definitely be picking one up!
Primer - I'm kinda in love with my Benefit that Gal (the one that looks like a gluestick!!) so I doubt I'll be investing in this one.
In answer to your third question - I LOVE the Too Faced quickie in Cupcake - if I'm ever travelling for work this little thing covers everything except my foundation and mascara - ultimate space saver
Which is your favourite?

Re: Toofacin' it up!

Wow that powder looks awesome! I'd be tempted to get some of this!
Honestly, I've never used Too Faced, but after seeing this I went to their website and it looks like really fun stuff! Next time I get paid I may have to take a serious look at this powder and some other things!
Roodie, what are the TooFaced "must haves"?

Re: Toofacin' it up!

Ok Roodie you're on! You let me know what you think and I'll take your word for it! I'd either have to order it online, or wait a few weeks til I head back to Minneapolis...no place to get TooFaced in Podunk South Dakota! Unless their website has a free ship offer or something...
I was on their website and saw some eye brightening pencil--can't think of what it is now but it looked interesting...have you tried that?

well you'd have to give it time cause these 2 just came out online and from what i've heard the sephora stores get it 2-4weeks after it first debuts online, i will definitely let you know how the powder works. and the eye brightening pencil... i take it ur talking about the mineral water eye brightening pencil? if so, yes i've tried it and i liked it a lot, if u like the wide awake look,go for it.

That powder sounds so pretty. I'd love to see what it look like when worn. I hate when gold flecks catch the light like glitter.

Re: Toofacin' it up!

Great job on resisting the primer, I think the description had me after "flawless skin without makeup". The powder sounds perfect for the summer, it is so ideal to wear less makeup once the high temperature starts. I want to know how the powder works out, keep us informed!
