Train Case in Canada

Hi Everyone!

I am in desperate need for a big train case for my makeup. The problem is that I cannot find one here in Canada. I know that some places will ship them, but the shipping charge is crazy. I want to spend no more than $75...is this even possible?

Thanks for any help!

How big do you want it? Zellers and Walmart both have some. There is a company on Ebay that ships for about $20 and has lots of cases.

Re: Train Case in Canada

I need it to be about 2 levels big if that makes sense. Currently I have a small case, like a starter one, that is about briefcase size, but I need one that has trays that expand so like the size of 2 or 3 briefcases. I've never seen any in Zellers or Walmart..I live in Ontario. You've seen them?
Do you have the name of the company on ebay?
Thanks!

Re: Train Case in Canada

I don’t have the name for the ebay seller. I was looking for cases myself last month and when I searched they kept coming up, very low starting prices and they had dozens listed at a time.

I have seen them at both stores here on PEI. I believe the large ones are in the 12” x 8” x8” size range with the pop up trays. They were only about $30-40 I thought they were a good deal.

Re: Train Case in Canada

Around Christmas time, a few years ago, I bought a Caboodles train case at Walmart. They have two sizes and I believe the prices were around $30.00-$40.00, two different sizes, silver color. I bought the smaller one. I haven't checked lately but they may carry them year round.

Here are a few pics of the train case I bought (now full of makeup compared to that pic lol)

Re: Train Case in Canada

Katana and Shelley,

Those train cases are exactly what I am looking for!!

I am going to try Walmart this weekend and hope they have them all year round. As for Costco, I was just there and I didn't see any, but hopefully come Christmas time they'll have them again...if I can wait that long! My small case is bursting!

Thanks so much!

Re: Train Case in Canada

i've seen them at Wal-mart, but not at Costco, although Costco changes their inventory so often I rarely see items more than a few weeks!

I got mine at Sephora, but that might be a little more expensive than you want to pay.

Re: Train Case in Canada

Sephora is definitely more expensive. I wouldn't get it from there.
I'm in Toronto, and the Walmarts around me carry that silver one year-round as well
I'm not sure of the price, but $40 sounds right.
When I bought mine, it came with make up in it... nothing too great though! LoL

Re: Train Case in Canada

I have one just like the first picture Katana posted. Mine is black. I got it at Walmart for $40 it was the biggest and most expensive one. They had 2 smaller sizes as well I believe the cheapest one was $20. Anyway its called 'The Goddess' by Caboodles.

It was in the cosmetics section, but I walked around the whole section 8 times (!) before I spotted them LOL. They were on the lowest shelf under everything. Walmart has them year round though, and I am in Ontario also and did not go to a big Walmart, just a small one in a mall. Good luck finding one, they are great!
