What do you...

Guys do when you wear eye makeup and your eye(s) get itchy, and you`re outside? I mean do you scratch then like really hard , and will your mascara stay the same as when you had applied it? Cuz when my eyes get itchy and i scratch, my mascara gets al sticky/clumpy and it stays not up anymore, but it gets stiff. Any tricks?

Oh my eyes are always itchy! I try not to rub them though with mascara on or else it ends up all over my face!

Ditto to Laura, if I start rubbing, my eyemakeup gets all over! I just try to practice self-restraint!

OMG that sounds awful Lollipop. Hope you binned that straight away afterwards. I do have problems with my eyes at time. I have really bad allergies and once my eyes start itching, and i start rubbing, i can be sure it will be really sore for the next few days so i try my best not to touch them

Re: What do you...

You should see your eye doc (just my opinion) and change your eye makeup to the kind for sensitive eyes or non-allergic. Clinique or Almay is okay.

Re: What do you...

I'm just like you! I have moderate to severe allergies and itchy eyes will hit me out of the blue. To relieve the itching, I keep a bottle of Visine A.C. in my purse and use it at the onset of itching. It's made for seasonal itching and redness. If your eyes are already itching, these drops will sting a bit when applied, but after a few minutes the stinging and itching goes away completely. BTW: It'll sting more if you've been scratching and if you've *really* been carving away at the itch it'll burn like a MO-FO. But it works like a champ!

Yes that` s so true about the burning part, not to speak about getting tears.

Re: What do you...

I basically will whip out a mirror, look at where the itch is trying to figure out if it is something in my eye or just a random itch.

Then I'll use my fingernail to gently scratch the itch, and watch carefully so I don't mess up my eye makeup...

Yes sometimes it can also be that there`s something in the eye. But mostly my eyes are just itching random, i try to scratch carefull, but when i almost explode, then it`s far from sratching carefull. Thanks Leila for the reply.
