What should I ask for?

Well my birthday is coming next month and my sister asked me today what kind of make up I wanted.....of course I said I wanted to try Mac (yes I am still a virgin) any way I told her pigments is really what I am most interested in right now. My question is what are some of your favorites or should I just ask for samples (she will probably go on ebay)??

hmmm.... id say pigment samples because that way youll have a little bit of everything. samples last FOREVER you only need a little bit and this way youll have a wide variety

Well, if she's going on eBay, then you might be better off with samples. Not to mention, then you'll know which colors you like most in order to get full sizes later. be sure to check our thread on good & bad sellers to see who comes recommended by MuTers. I can say Blue Brown is a LOVELY color IMHO... Well, lots of them are LOL! OH! Check Leila's notepad (MACGoddess) for what the colors look like. LOL!

Ditto! Ebay is a great place to get pigment samples and you can avoid wasting $ on buying full size pigments you don't like.

To look at Pigment colours, take a look at Leilas (MACGoddess) Notepad. Leila has got pictures of all her Pigments and the pictures are great quality

Also, at November 19th, MAC is coming with 2 holiday sets of pigments, each one of them have 5 vials of pigments (more than 1/4 sample that you usually find on ebay) and it costs 28.50 each set. They are the cool set , with frozen white, rose, naval blue, pinked mauve and dark soul, and the warm set, with vanilla, old gold, tan, chartreuse and pink bronze.

Id recommend ebay, you can get tons of sample colors for a fraction of the price. They last a long time too.
