you can buy them at mac pro stores or if they are a limited edition at regular counters and of course, you can buy samples from some of the girls on here or ebay.

there have been a total of like 100 including limited editions and pro colors which are only available at the pro stores, you cant buy them at the counters though unless there is a new collection, the mac store has the regulars which are on the mac web site (to check colors) and the mac PRO store has all the rest of the hard to find colors and glitters.

for color swatches i know MACGoddess has most of them in her notepad--it's amazing lol!

As Aimee said, I have pretty much all of the pigments listed in my notepad with pretty accurate pics of them that I have taken. There are a couple of them that I haven't updated and put in there yet, but I will do so soon... All of the major ones that you can find easily are listed in my Notepad though.

As the others you said, you can buy them at MAC Freestanding Stores or MAC Pro Stores or through the 800 MAC number... If you are unsure about whether you will like a particular color, you can try to find samples of them on Ebay...

Ebay is a lot more expensive in the long run, so I would use the whole buying samples on Ebay for either EXTREMELY hard to find ones in which you can ONLY find samples, or using it to judge whether or not you like a shade on, and then buy the full size jar.

One jar of pigment will last a VERY VERY long time and if you use them cleanly and don't drip wet brushes etc into the jar, they will not "go bad."
