...when you need honest opinions on your makeup?

for me, definitely my mom. i'd go to my sister, violet (leta112), but she's a bit TOO blunt. she'll make faces and throw in the words "ew" and "yuck" while my mom would just tell me it doesn't look good and why.

For me, its my mom. She will tell me in a delicate way if she thinks something doesn't look right.

For me, it's my DH. He's honest enough to tell me when something is way overdone, and he's usually right

my bf. he's honest and will tell me when he doesn't like something. but when i'm like "what?!" he's like "well, you'd rather have me be honest and tell you it doesn't look right then you go out in public right?" but he doesn't like anything too out there or too much

I'd say my older sister, she is honest, but not mean. I'll ask a few of my friends what they think about my makeup that day, and I trust their opinions.

I don't ASK him for advice, but my dad will say things like 'oh you look pretty today!' and I will make a mental note of what I did that morning. He hates a lot of makeup though, so he usually compliments my 5-min routine.

when I´m home at my parents house, I definitley ask my 18 year old brother (who knows more about style and all than my mum *lol*) rather than my mum

other than that usually my friends, when we get ready together before going out

I ask my Best Friend Scarlette. She tells me honestly what she thinks and makes me laugh about it. The only "Bad" thing is that she always tells me to BUY!!!! We are dangerous when we go shopping together.

My son's father. We're not involved anymore, romantically, but we live together, and we're best friends, so he's perfectly comfortable saying, "Your face looks kind of....dirty and orange." And equally comfortable with saying, "You look so pretty..."

My girlfriend, Heather, too. I trust her to always tell me like it is.

I never ask my mother's opinion about anything. She shops at J.Jill and wears clothes that are two sizes too large, she believes a person only needs two pairs of shoes to be satisfied, and she's embarrassed to be seen with me if I leave the house in destructed jeans...even if they are designer jeans at 200 bucks a pop. Which I don't mention...because then she has issues with the way I spend my money. Mom is definitely not the go-to-gal.
