Well a month ago I would have said red red and more red, but recently as it has been a little warm and I have stopped being totally vegitarian to eat oily fish, I have been trying the joys of a cold white wine and enjoying it, much to my surprise. An Orvietto, Sauvignon Blanc and my favourite Pinot Grigot. My love though remains with the big fruity reds. Pinot Noir from Burgundy, Malbec from Cahors and the Cabernets and Merlots from Bordeaux. Then there are the delicious Riojas, Montepulcianos, the list just goes on. So what do you like ?

I'm not a big white wine drinker at all, but if I do it's Pinot Grigio.

I love many reds, Chianti, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz. I LOVE red wine.. in fact I think after reading this I'm going to have some.

i'm a white wine person usually, i love a good chardonnay.

if i go for reds, which is rare and usually only if i'm eating, i'll get a nice chianti. i LOVE wine.

I am a red wine fan though I do love whites and roses as well. My fav red wine at the moment is a Cabernet Sauvignon and iI just tried a gorgeous white on the weekend and it's a Crouchen & Riesling.

Oh God LilDee I had forgot about desert wine. A chilled Sauterne is sublime but I cannot drink too much of it. I went around the Sauterne region and looked longingly theough the bars of Chateau Y'Quem and drooled. I found some at a little farm that was quite reasonable. The farmer had just pressed his grapes and gave me some to drink, Heaven in a glass.

What a shame it is so expensive.

I'm not a big fan of wine, but here's a few i can drink :

White : Riesling or Gewurztraminer (mostly for desert this one), Asti (yum!).

Red : I actually like it : Lambrusco (red version).

Of these, my heart prefers the italian wines. Both of them are fizzy, so they taste better to a mouth unaccustomed to wine.

I love love love Pinot Noir any day of the week. La Crema makes amazing Pinot Noirs. I also love La Crema Chardonnay. Delish!

I love a slightly cool glass of Beaujolais. It's my favorite red wine. It's bright and fresh tasting that's made from the gamay grape.
