Oh, how I love holidays!

Tonight while searching for fabric to make some pillowcases with, I ran into Wal-mart's Halloween fabric! I love holiday decor and decided I had to buy some of it. I don't currently own a sewing machine, so my pillow is handsewn, but this is the first of at least 3.

This is my favorite of the fabrics, the white specks are actual flecks of sparkle! BTW, if you notice the wrinkles, it's because my big-headed husband decided to sleep on it 5 seconds after I finished it. Oh, and one more thing, the eyes are actually more green & yellow. I'll take a better picture tomorrow in the daylight.

That's really cute! Very well done for a hand sewn pillow! Have you got a specific room in mind for the cushion, or is an anywhere decor item?

Thank you very much! I think I want to decorate my living room, but my daughter tends to claim new things as her own, and they end up all over the house. Not to mention my bedroom has all black furniture and trim, so it would look awesome in there.
