For the boyfriend, a nintendo pillow!
I made this for the boyf a while back. It's deliciously fuzzy fleece, all handsewn. Originally I made one that was machine sewn but while I was embroidering the details (you will notice I did not attempt this on try #2) I got frustrated when my floss knotted up and somehow ended up with a hole in the pillow. Oops.
Anyway there's not a pillow in it in the photographs because it was being washed. This is what it looks like stuffed with clothes (a little lumpy). Dasani bottle for size reference.

Wow real real nice!!
I bet your boyfriend really liked it. I think guys like girls who are really thoughtful.  I'm not a crafty person but I love to bake and cook. When I have time, I surprise him with brownies or pasta. He loves it, by the way.
