Re: Candle Making

Oh, I love making candles! I never really "learned", I just kinda did it. I went to Michaels and JoAnns and picked up kits and seperates of stuff and started doing it! Try going to a craft store and see if they have kits!

Re: Candle Making

If you are going to be doing alot of candlemaking, my I suggest doing this
http://www.candletech.com/budgetmelter/index.htm

MUCH better than a double-boiler.

Also that site has alot of free tips.

Re: Candle Making

great hobby! I used loooooove making candles a long time ago. never did the melt/pour ones, but rolled beeswax ones. They make great gifts - I totally second Guenevere on going to Michaels for supplies, kits and even how to books

Debbie...

Hello hun! I am a candle maker.. if oyu need anyhelp let me know... thebooks are hard to follow, but they give you the basics... go to the library, that is your best bet... in stead of paying for one... they all have good tips, but one is not the ultimate know how!! Let me know what you would like to know, and I will answer any questions hun if I can!

Re: Candle Making

I found a "how to" yesterday on making beeswax candles, and I'm thinking I might make some for X-Mas goodies w/ homemade cookies
