Awww....
My fiance picked me u[p from the airport yesterday after I got back for a week long vacation (without him). He got me from the airport and I he had to do a quick job in the way northern part of the state (2 hours from his house, 30 minutes fromt he airport). I went with him and helped out (he's a land surveyor). We went back to my house...he helped me unpack, and start a load of laundry...
Then we went food shopping at Whole Foods, and got dinner at Baja Fresh and went back to my house to eat and have a couple beers. after we finished eating we started talking about our wedding and having kids and stuff. I asked him what he'd name his son if we had a boy....he didn't say anything and he looked like he was thinking. The a minute or so later I say...."Alexander or Lucius" He was amazed that I picked those names. He's never mentioned them to me at all, but I know he is really into Roman and Greek history, and both would work with his last name. The also have cool meanings....Alexander means "defender of men" and Lucius means "light." He said he was so amazed that I know him so well, and I knew what names he would pick. then he suggested we get on a flight to Vegas and get married that night (which we didn't, we're still planning our big wedding). It was just so cute.....aww... |

Aww it gets even better.....
Yesterday he went to a seminar for work, and I guess he was bored and he drew a picture of us. I was under the impression he wasn't a good artist at all. We;ve been together for over a decade and I've never seen him draw anything...other than putting a peice of paper over a toy car and rubbing over it with a crayon....then saying look what I drew... Well this drawing was soo cool. It was totally abstract....the only way I could tell it was supposed to be us was that he drew himself much taller than he drew me (he's over a foot taller). But it was really detailed....he says that's what we really look like....and that since I have autism my perception is different...not so sure about that one....one of my arms in the picture was a palm tree (I just returned from Florida) and I think I had snakes for hair (long and curly)....but in the picture he was supposed to be giving me flowers......aww... He can be a real jerk sometimes, but when he's being sweet....he's really sweet.... |
