I told my boyfriend off, because when we were out and waiting in line at the cashier, and because of his height and mine, he was leaning on top of my head. I got upset and told him that he is degrading me and making fun of my height. I felt stupid that this tall man would lean on my head by putting his arm there and it looked immature.
Would you agree with me?

WHAT??????????? are you kidding me if he had a problem with your height I doubt he would be with you why do people pick fights for the dumbest reasons (no offense) but pick your battles & let the little stuff go You both will be ALOT happier trust!!!!!!!!! just wonderin if somethin else is really bothering you & you just snapped at the littlest thing? sometimes when much bigger things happen & you let it go & not talk about it you will lose it later at the smallest thing!!!!!!!!!! tell him your sorry for OverReacting & be happy!!!

Guess I am going to have the unpopular opinion, but oh well. I agree that this is disrespectful. I mean, think about it. I can see maybe him leaning on her shoulder or something, but her HEAD??? Oh, and for the record- I am very short and my husband is very tall- I asked him what he thought about this scenario, and he also agreed, without hesitation, that this is definitely disrespectful, among other things.

I don't think my bf did it on purpose to disrespect me, but the fact that it was done and he had no thought of it. This is something I would of expected from a male teenager who did not learn all the "mature ways of treating a lady" kind of thing, I guess.
I felt hurt and told him off.
I have been edgy because I'm trying to get this job and waiting to see if I got hired.
My parents annoy me a lot since I got a bf, which makes me more edgy because I'm hoping to get this job to help me out financially.

I dont find it disrespectful. I'm 5'1" and my husband is 6'4". I think it's cute when he does things like that (usually). A simple "layoff" probably would have done the trick.

I agree with Kat, my bf is a foot taller than me an has done that and it just takes a stern "layoff" but dont worry it happens

I think you have to tell him you don't like it, when no one else is around. Otherwise take it as a perk of having a tall guy. I have to say that sometimes it's frustrating being short with a tall guy. I'm 4'10 and hubby is 6'6. And let me tell you I've been hauled out of wal-mart under his arm, kicking and laughing. (Makeup deterent) Trust me after awhile you won't notice and think that stuff is cute.

I just called him and he was not happy with me. He said that was his way of showing his affection and was shocked how I responded.
I feel really bad and I don't know if I can make it up to him.

if you were offended by that, it might be a sign of other issues. do you often feel as though he has more control than you in other situations? that he ultimately makes decisions for both of you that you don't agree with? i think that just on it's own it doesn't make sense for you to be this upset over just the arm on the head thing. i would probably be annoyed by that, but i would just push my boyfriends arm off if that was the case. i think you should think over why you were upset and then fix it with your boyfriend.

This is how my bf is interperting it...he thinks it must be from my past. I feel so bad and I don't know how to make it up to him.
I'm feeling frustrated that my parents are difficult, I want full time job and my union told me that we will go on strike if the offer is not good, my co-workers from my other job are nice but I'm hating the job to an extent because I rather be with my bf.
I thought leaning all his weight on my head was disrespectful to me and basically that was my interpertation of it.
He yawns in public very loud and I beg him not to do that. I feel embarrased because I was raised not to do that and only "lower class" type of people do that....example, we were at nice restaurant and he yawns very loud. I find that rude.

I'm tired of working 7 days a week. I need a vacation. BUT more important, I need to fix the damage I've done to my bf.
Any suggestions?

I agree. Just take a few deep breaths, realize that you can't solve all your problems at once, and just focus on de-stressing (as much as possible).
