It was really weird but good too! Long story short, I get a text from my brother today saying he has someone that wants to talk to me that's a blast from the past. I was like, "Is it a guy?" LOL Anyway, he calls me and puts someone on the phone and it's my ex-bf. My bro just got a new job and he works with him! Crazy huh! I almost started to cry talking to him because we had so many good times together and we had a good break-up. He really was a great guy! He's been married for 4 years (I went to his reception) and that's the last time I talked to him! He was the first guy I dated after my divorce and he really made me realize my self worth and that I was worth more than my ex-husband made me feel! After we broke up, I met my husband and I was so much for confident and self assured having been in that relationship before I met my husband, otherwise I probably wouldn't have felt good enough for my hubby!

Anyway, I just wanted to post because it was so weird but also really good at the same time. I'm so glad he's doing well and so am I and we're both happy in our relationships! It's such a small world sometime!

good for you, it's nice when you can recognise the good in having dated someone, so much better than feeling angry and hurt still. I have maybe 3 out of 5 that I see the good of, not too bad a record!

I have one ex that I am REALLY good friends with, I woud even go as far as saying that he is one of my best friends, I think our friendship is that much more special because we have dated and know each other inside out..no pun intended there!

I hope we'll keep in touch! I knew his wife too, so I don't think she'd think it was weird. He knows my husband too. We weren't all friends or anything but all four of us worked together! That's how we all met! Funny huh!

I'm so glad we didn't have a bad break up! I kind of hurt him because he wanted to get married and I didn't because I had just gotten divorced. We talked for hours afterward and both cried and realized that it wasn't meant to be and he knew it! Man, we had some good times. It's fun to think back on!

Oh and Bec, LOL about the outside and in!! If I was going to say that literally I could only say he knew me on the outside! LOL No inside stuff went on! LOL

Honestly, I totally adored him and I could've married him in a heart beat, but I just felt like it wasn't right! I'm glad I'm married to my husband now, but I know he would've taken care of me and treated me well. I know that everything happens for a reason and he was supposed to be with his wife and I was supposed to be with my husband. I know the purpose he served in my life was for me to know that I was still capable of being treated like a queen after what I went through. It was really weird for me to go from being with this huge loser who treated me really bad to this guy who was completely whooped over me! LOL We were also in different phases in our lives. He was ready to get married and I was ready to be single for a while!
