I've been on two dates with one guy, and our third date is tomorrow. (I've written about it in my blog a little). I'm very excited and we like each other very much...I'm just so new to this relationships thing.

I'm having a hard time with patience...I just need to relax and let things move at the pace that they move...and not ton control too much.

I don't want to mess this up...any advice?

You could limit the amount of time you spend on dates with him - have a lunch date rather than spending an evening with him.
Or double date so you can focus on having fun and you won't get too attached too soon.

I also agree that not spending sooooo much time together right away is best. It lets you evaluate the relationship without the pressure of having them around all of the time. Let things happen naturally and don't try to force anything. The old saying that anything worth having is worth waiting for is oh so true.

All the advice given is exactly right! MUT does come through with great advice all the time! The idea of going slow is great, the idea of short dates and not spending all your time with him is even better! Never thought of that. I say live for today and don't expect too much, but don't lower your standards or self-respect. Enjoy the love rollercoaster. Look for red flags to let you know if he's a good guy or not. Take it one day at a time.
