My baby boy
I think a few of you will remember me. We welcomed my little boy into our hearts on March 20 of this year. I had a rough pregnancy with migraines, nausea, and a huge helping of CRS. All of that didn't prepare us for his birth. He was airlifted less than 24 hours after he was born to the nearest nicu due to respiratory distress. I'm not a smoker (that's the first thing people ask me) but his nicu team thought that his tachypnea was made worst by the small whole in his heart. He stayed in the nicu for a week before we were able to bring him home. Other than having an extremely overprotective mother he has a fantastic prognosis. The whole in his heart has closed and we've been advised to keep him as germ free as possible.

Wow he is sooooo adorable - I love that last picture of him smiling, I just had to smile with him. I'm am so sorry that you had to go thru the nicu experience with him. I am glad he is home and happy now!

Oh my gosh, Gwena!! He's so sweet. Look at that grin! You can tell he's a happy little guy. My first son was in NICU for two weeks, so I feel your pain. There's nothing like having to leave your baby at the hospitol, but it's so wonderful when they come home! Congrats!
