anyone knows a facial sunblock in the in the mist/spray form? I saw some brands that have sunblocks in the spary bottle (Aveeno,...) at Target but they are for the body, so just wondering that I can actually use that on my face?

For those continuous spray cans, from foundations to sunblock, all the products I've seen advise you not to spray directly to your face.

I know what you're going for. You'd rather not have to rub sun block on your face, right?

I always feel like rubbing sun block on my face makes me break out more.

My workaround is to buy the mist/spray that you mentioned, spray it on my just cleaned hands and gently pat it on my face rather than rubbing it in.

yeah, I don't want to rub it on my face 'coz I always feel like I put too much and putting too much may break me out.
so you mean those spray body sunblock can actually work on the face as long as I don't spray it directly?

You aren't really supposed to rub sunscreen into the face to begin with. You are supposed to apply a thin layer, and wait 20 minutes to let it sink in. You can wait five minutes, see how much has sunk in and then gently pat and continue to let the rest absorb for 15-20 minutes as well.

The correct amount of sunscreen for the face is 1/4 teaspoon or 6 whole sprays/pumps of a spray on formula. If you aren't doing that, you won't get the stated protection. If you go for a high spf formulation and don't mind getting less protection than what the bottle promises, you can apply lightly and get about half. It's pretty hard to put 1/4 teaspoon of sunscreen on your face! Have you tried any fluid formulas? La Roche Posay and Bioderma make good formulations that sink into your skin really well.

i agree, i love la roche posay sunscreens, they're very light, especially those for your face, so you don't feel like you're buttering your face.

Yes, it says on the bottle to not spray it in your face directly but to spray it in your hands and "rub" it on.

I found that I break out less by just gently patting it on with clean hands. The rubbing is what really seemed to irritate my face and cause breakouts the next day.

I don't know if a spray sunblock for the body should be used for face. It might cause breakouts? I have yet to come across a spray sunblock for face as well.

honestly i don't think a body sunscreen would cause breakouts if you use it on your face. what if you have acne on your shoulders ? which suncreen would you use then ? are the face sunscreens so different from the body ones ? i don't think so, and besides, sunscreens cost a certain amount ofmoney so i prefer using one bottle from head to toe rather than two. it costs more money, and i find it's less practical.
