Best anti aging product for dry, sensitive skin

What anti aging products would you recommend for skin that's extremely dry. I also am very prone to allergy. Is there any natural product around that works well?

Re: Best anti aging product for dry, sensitive skin

you could try jojoba oil, I've heard of people using that as a facial moisturiser.

Essentially, the best anti-aging product is prevention - use sunscreen every day and make sure you keep your skin hydrated.

I'm using Garnier Nutritioniste anti-aging lotion for damaged skin and it works as well as any.. My wife uses it too but she nicer skin than I do to start with.. and it has a high SPF...

Re: Best anti aging product for dry, sensitive skin

Staying out of the sun has helped me. I am almost 30 and i have the face of a 17 year old. I sometimes think I need to get more sun because I am so pale.

I suggest you use an anti-aging cream that contains Vitamin E. Vitamin hydrates there’s kin and also keeps it supple and youthful and plump. I also agree with the previous replies, the best anti-aging cream out there…SUNSCREEN! Find a noncomodegenic (not pore-clogging) suncreen with UVA and UVB protection.

Kiehls is good. Apparantly from where I buy lots of my skin care products. Kiehl's line is being purchased a lot. I like estee lauder. I have products from both.
Yesterday I bought the capture r60/80 Dior line. I love to try new products. And test them out. Perhaps you should too and you'll find one that really works for your skin.
I don't have wrinkles or anything! I'm 23! Lol but yes. Prevention is key.

Re: Best anti aging product for dry, sensitive skin

I love camelia oil and rose hip oil is also great. They are all natural. Rose hip oil is better for very dry skin because it's richer than camelia oil. Rose hip oil also contains natural tretinoin and so a great plus for antiaging. It's very soothing and reduces redness/irritation caused by other stronger products I use.

I use Silkia camelia oil in the morning because it's lighter, adds a healthy glow to the skin and makes makeup glide on smoothly. I use rose hip oil at night. Along with a few other creams, they have dramatically improved my skin.

Re: Best anti aging product for dry, sensitive skin

I totally agree with the sunscreen advice - it should be part of your every day routine.

As far as products go, I recently read a beauty ingredient information article about whether or not GOLD (now a semi-popular ingredient in some antiaging products) has any real benefits... one dermatologist in the story recommended Retinol (Vitamin A) as her favorite antiaging ingredient.

On the sensitive skin subject - I also read this at beautyXpose.com - make sure you know what "hypoallergenic" does and does not mean... it's totally astounding!

Retin A is fabulous and the standard in anti-aging, but can be quite irritating and drying to the point that use of it needs to cease. So, not really a great product for sensitive skin unforunately.

Retinol is the OTC version and not as potent as its prescription version, but is less irritating. Again, maybe not too great of a solution for sensitive skin.

Re: Best anti aging product for dry, sensitive skin

i have been using purefusion supercharged age defense radiance renewal serum (certified USDA organic), under my moisturizer, which is the dior hydraction deep hydration rich creme when my skin feels tight and dry. (when its normal, i use dior hydraction deep hydration sorbet or prescriptives vibrantc skin brightening cream as moisturizer)

Right now I'm using Elemis. I bought it at a spa while on vacation, but you can also purchase them online. It has good reviews on makeupalley. You should check that out.

I've been trying Bellanue Antiaging Serum lately, it has really improved my skin. It's expensive though.
