About EDM's

So I recieved my samples in the mail a couple days ago. Ive been playing around with them ever since. It just doesnt seem to give me the coverage i want the bare minerals does. So i was thinking am i not putting enough on? Or do i need to like layer more. Any who i really wanted to like them specialy since the price is so great.

Re: About EDM's

well which type did you get? Like their intensive formula will give you more coverage. Also, what type of brush are you using? Their flat-top brush is amazing for giving coverage. Plus, when I use my EDM, I do have to do it in layers. It comes out better in the end, then when you stack on the coverage all at once which give a rather cakey look.

You can also apply it wet for more coverage.

Re: About EDM's

I get much better results with my EDM when they are applied wet. I also use their flat top brush and can't rave enough about it. It rocks!

Re: About EDM's

I used the flat top as well. Stipple it on first and then blend it. I agree that you should do it in layers as oppose to trying to apply too much at first.

Re: About EDM's

What formula did you get? Matte, Semi-Matte, Original Glo, or Intensive?

Intensive has the heaviest coverage. I found Semi-Matte to have the worst coverage. I'm currently using Original Glo.

Re: About EDM's

The best way to get lots of coverage is to layer really thin layers on top of each other. Just put a little bit in a bowl or the lid and swirl the brush in and put it on, then repeat. It takes a bit of practice

Re: About EDM's

ok stupid question,

when applying WET, do you wet your brush first then swirl on the powder or swirl first then wet the brush?

Sorry, I'm not very good at explaining things. I'll try again.

Just pour a little bit into a bowl or onto the lid of the container, it doesn't take much. Take your brush and swirl it over top of the minerals until the minerals disapear from the bowl and are held in the brush. Tap the brush on the edge of the bowl to get rid of any extra make up on the brush. Very lightly rub the brush over your face in circular motions. If you find it's not enough coverage then do this again. With mineral make up it's surprising how little it takes to cover your face. Just keep trying and you'll get the hang of it

If I'm still not explaining it right just let me know. Some one else might be able to explain it better than I can.
