Black eye shadow and creases
hey there
ok so im having a few probs doing me black eye makeup at mo.. before i converted to using mineral eyeshadows i was using black eyeshadow by another brand along with benefits fyeye primer i now decided to use mineral blk eyeshadows..i found a nice dark one by ccminerals...again i used benefits primer ...thing is this time i found like in the middle of the eyelid..im guessing its near the crease..the eyeshadow sort of came off and flaked a little..which has never happened before...so my eyelids were a lovely matte dark blk colour except for this area on it... so what went wrong?..was it the brush i used?...i have most of the BE eye brushes but dont use them with the blk eyeshadow as its hard to get off the brushes please help me any advice appreciated...like which brushes to use best p.s ive tried to upload a pic of mine which im hoping shows my eye makeup best.... |

Re: black eye shadow and creases
I recently switched over from drugstore quads to MMU eyeshadow. I had the same problem as you, with MMU eyeshadow. My problem was a bit more severe. My MMU eyeshadow would not stay on for ANYTHING. It was gone in an hour. Everybody here on MuT kept telling me to get UDPP. I finally did and it fixed everything!
UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) is the most awesome primer. I'm almost certain it will fix your problem. I know it fixed mine. My eyeshadow stays on FOREVER now. It even takes a couple swipes of my eye makeup remover to get it off! ![]() I did a thread on UDPP. LINK >>>>> UDPP Worked! **(Note to explain blending question in my thread)I found out I put too much on the first time I used UDPP. That's why I couldn't blend the colors. I have no problem now. You only need a little bit of UDPP and you are set, literally. You can order UDPP online at ULTA. They have a great deal where you get two tubes for $25.00+shipping. Sephora sells ONE for $15.00+shipping. You can get UDPP in the Sephora store for $18.00, if you have one close to you (lucky you!). LINK >>>>>>UDPP at Ulta

I know less than nothing about mmu so I don't have much to say except UDPP is wonderful!! I tried it for the first time last december and I'm so happy with it!
