Can anyone give me some good ideas for new colors to try to make blue eyes pop? I've got about every shade of brown there is, but I'm looking for something new to try. Maybe some purples? I'm just not sure what to go for.

I'm making an EDM order soon, so I'd love to have EDM eye shadow suggestions from you blue eye'd gals out there!

I love shades of blue-green, but whilst some shades make the blue in your eyes pop, some can make them seem more grey.

EDM Colors: In the Garden, Starry Eyed, Countryside, Comfy, Thank You (although not nearly as pigmented as it seems it should be!), Mystic Night

In more general terms, oranges, yellows, and reds are AWESOME for blue eyes!! They're my favorite to wear.

Here are some really great MMU colors I've found:

grays- lights blues if your eyes are dark- saw a great looking light orange on a women the other day that I still remember!

reds on blue eyes look kinda funny. try out purples though.

I have blue-grey nothing eyes, but gold makes them stand out
Especially with more of an orangey gold

The thing that will really make a color stand out, for instance your blue eyes, you really want to use the color that is opposite from blue on the color wheel. So a color with some orange may do the trick. Maybe a rusty brown. I know, brown is what you already have. But if it works then use it. See what you get compliments on. I know I am always trying new things and then I go back to my regular shades cuz they just work for me. Now if I am wearing a specific color for the day, lets say lavender, then sure I will go for the lavender shades on my eyes and that is really fun. So if you wear turquoise for the day then do up your eyes with tourquoise. But if I really want to look my best then I stick with my colors that really do me justice, but if I am out for fun then I will just go all silly with the colors. This is our perogative(not sure how to spell that) when we are chicks!!! We can just go bare or go colorful....whatever we want for however we feel.

I find unless the blue is an exact match to your eyes you should avoid them, but blues with green or a silver base can be ok. Smoky is great. I use pinks and they can really make my blue stand out. Experiment!

Alima's Matte eyeshadow Coco looks great. Also eyeshadows like burgundy, lilac and pinks are great for blue eyes.

An electric purple, deep, would look hot with blue eyes.

I have warmer blue eyes so I find teal, turquoise, bronze, copper and golds make them pop best. I prefer teal, indigo or charcoal colours to line with.
