Easiest companies to pick colours from

I found with Blusche and Mineral Boutique that I was able to pick a colour that matched really quickly in one sample order. I am Butterscotch Toffee in Blusche and W3 in Mineral Boutique. Also with Pure Ananda but I talked to the owner first before ordering samples. My match is Ivory Chinook.

Everything was off in some way with the other lines. Not sure why they got it right for my skin tone and everyone else didn't work out.

I found a match with Lumiere in my first order. Her names are very Clear and make it easy to determine your shade. Plus they have a great try me kit that allows you to get alot of samples for next to nothing.

The only mineral makeup I have tried is Blusche. I agree it's easy with this line to pick colors. I did find my perfect match in the few samples I ordered.

I've had good luck with Everyday Minerals, found my match after just two sample kits.

Re: Easiest companies to pick colours from

EDM was a nightmare for me - I eventually gave up. Hope it's improved since then, but that one you could legitimately say 'too many shades'. Or maybe they were just 'totally disorganised shades with bad photos'.

After four sample kits, the Sandy Fair seemed to suit, it was very fair and very cool, but then when I ordered it, it ended up being a warm shade because they'd changed or reformulated the colours without bothering to mention it on the site. AAARRRGGHHH!

I think it may be more coherent over there now, but I really wasn't impressed - none of the colour arrangements made any sense.

I also found it really easy to find good match with Buff'd (but Jennifer did assist me a lot with it). Candace was also a great help on getting a match with Pure Anada. Blusche and My Minerals Bath and Body were also pretty easy to get a match without assistance, I can wear three different shades in each of them that look natural enough.

I found a match with my first Lily Lolo order. I ordered 3 samples, it was really easy to pick out ones that looked close from the site.

Re: Easiest companies to pick colours from

same as Sirvinya, i picked 3 or 4 foundation samples, and found my match very quickly. i ordered some ocean mist samples and was quite disappointed as none of them was a real match :/ i was sure i picked the right samples.

I had the same experience with EDM, Gavriela. They and Signature minerals were my first online samplings and I did find my HG foundation with SM on the first shot but I was off with EDM because I just couldn't sort through it effectively since my foundation choices seemed too off. I will be giving them another chance on my quest for HG blush though I understand the new site is better organized and waiting for that to officially go up.

I would recommend SM in that their descriptions are very helpful and concise on what might not be a vast selection but I certainly nailed it and the pics seemed pretty accurate on my PC at least.
