Ebay mineral brands...anybody tried these?

I was on ebay today and noticed that there are some really good deals on MMU and thought maybe some of you would have some opinions on these. There are brands that I've never heard of...Bare Minerals, Tru Minerals, etc.
The deals I saw were pretty incredible, 50g jars of foundation plus a 50g jar of mineral veil and a bonus free travel dispensing brush for about $25 including shipping. The colours look similar to BE, being pretty universal (fair, fairly light, light, etc), but I was more curious about the quality of the minerals. I would really appreciate any input from anyone that has tried any of these brands. Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Ebay mineral brands...anybody tried these?

I personally havent tried any of the products on ebay, but one thing I do know is that all mineral makeup is made of the same ingredients. The only difference is the amount of filler, etc that is used. This would affect the final color outcome. To be safe I would ask to buy a few samples first. There is no reason for any of these to be any better or worse than what you can find anywhere else.

I don't really trust some Ebay stuff that sells there. I rather see the cosmetics in my own hands before I buy it.

Re: Ebay mineral brands...anybody tried these?

Hi Sunny,

My first foray into MMU was on ebay - Forever Female, actually.

I never really tried the companies you mentioned, although they have all been bookmarked in 'my ebay' LOL.

Most of my eyeshadow stash is from an ebay supplier. The store is called 'Green Mnt Exotic's' or something like that from memory. They only sell multi-use powders (ie. e/s) though, no foundations or finishing powders. but some of their redder ones I've used as lip colours and they've turned out great.

They resell (i think) from a place called simply naturals - i'm new to the forum so i can't post the link. but just google for them.

HTH

Re: Ebay mineral brands...anybody tried these?

I've bought several brands of mmu from ebay and have been happy most of the time. Some people get the blending right and others get it way off. I find the best way is to only buy one thing from a seller and if you like it then try more.

I generally buy pigments since I have my hg foundation. I've only had one seller send awfully blended pigments. As in far too much filler and not enough colour.

Re: Ebay mineral brands...anybody tried these?

I've bought lots of different things from Ebay but that was before finding this forum. I've never had a problem with them.
