The cosmetician at SDM gave me a sample of the MineralFX foundation. This mineral powder foundation is from the CoverFX line. I already use the NaturalFX (liquid) foundation and I am the same color in the mineral line. Perfect match! But I have noticed since using the sample for two days now my face feels itchy and a bit tingly. Not super itchy but enough to annoy me. I also noticed about 5 tiny pimples after washing my face last night. I rarely get pimples so I figured maybe something is causing both the itchiness and breaking out. I checked the ingredients at SDM today and it does contain Bismuth Oxychloride. My face skin is sensitive but I heard this ingredient can cause irritation. Arrgh!

My Blusche samples should arrive early next week. They don't contain BO so hopefully I will find my perfect match.

They gave me a sample to try at home. Thank goodness I asked for a sample.

Yes, I heard that the BO in Bare Minerals is a problem for alot of people..

Don't worry, you're bound to find a match with other brands. =) If not, you could always tweak it a bit(if you like really like the formula) or if you don't want the hassle, just go on with sampling other brands. Goodluck!

Sounds like the BO. Hopefully you'll be ok with a brand that doesn't contain it.

yikes - seems like the BO - i have issues with bare escentuals for the same reasons also!
