Question Going to try spritzing water to set MMU- what should I know first?

How far back from my face? How light a mist? If I do two layers of foundation, should I spritz after the final layer or after each layer? Also, would it help to add a touch of glycerin to the water?

When I spritz I usually hold the spray can about 6 inches from my face, maybe a little more. I use the Aquafina spray which comes out in a very fine mist, so I'd say the finer the mist you can get, the better. I just spritz when I've completed my foundation and blush so I cant really comment on the layering thing.

Thanks! I may just do one layer today just to test it out.

I do about 8 inches at my face. I use a lot of the facial mist, it gives me a more natural look.

yes it improves lasting power and also gives your MMU a more set, finished look. it also eliminates the "powdery" look if you're getting that too.

Can you spray a brush and then buff or just spray your face? What's the difference between the two in terms of how one looks?

I tried spritzing with filtered water in a spray bottle.

Nothing.

If anything my makeup didn't last as long. Next time I am near Macys I am going to see if they have any MAC fix+.

yes you can do both methods.

if you're going to spray your brush and buff, it gives you more of a liquid mineral foundation look. it gives your foundation more coverage and it literally does look like a "natural" liquid foundation.

if you spritz afterwards, it just eliminates the powdery look and sets the makeup. you generally want to use this method if you want light-medium coverage and just want lastability or eliminate the powdery look.
