Unhappy Help? irritation from MMU?!

so i was bored and decided to put mmu from edm on. soon after, i washed it off but now i notice irritation on my jawline. it is kind of looking like a rash on my face. my brushes were washed before i applied my mmu. this has never happened before. it's not like i'm using mmu with bismuth and even if i was, it's never broken me out before. whats going on??

Sounds like you might be allergic to it. Unless you used anything else new on your face? Did you use a different cleanser?

Yes it happens to me. I'm allergic to most of their face powders except the Original Glo foundation. How long have you been using their makeup?

Re: Help? irritation from MMU?!

I find that I can use a product for a while and then suddenly become allergic to it. Not sure why this happens, it's strange, I can get halfway through something then not be able to use it anymore.

this happens to me quite often as well. I love my edm, i hope my skin doesn't do this later on.

Re: Help? irritation from MMU?!

well i think you should continue to monitor it. when you wear it if it starts to give you another allergic reaction, then just stop wearing it. have a backup makeup just in case this happens. hopefully this was just a false alarm and you have no more problems with your makeup.

Not true. Some people find that MMU makes their existing pores more noticeable. This is because MMU doesn't settle down in the pores and clog them like traditional makeup does.

Like any foundation mmu can create larger pores if you do not cleanse properly (it has happened to me, but stopped when I started using an oil cleanser) but I do not think having sensitive skin would make a person more prone to getting larger pores from mmu.

Some people (including myself) have noticed some additives like rice powder tend to settle in the pores and cause blackheads and larger pores - but then again everyone is different.
