I use the bare minerals line and the only thing i use from them is the foundation, mineral veil, and the pure radiance on my cheeks for the shine and sometimes over blush and i wear brown mascara and eyeliner and mostly brown/gold eyeshadow since it makes my blue eyes pop. But im interested in trying and playing around with more things..i want the smokey eye kit they have...the only thing i worry about is since my skin is so pale i think a lot of stuff looks weird on me...when i got my warmth from the BM kit i just stared at it and tossed it aside lol..i def need some newness!

i have pretty light skin as well, and for the longest time i just had warmth sitting around in my drawer and i never used it. i tried it many months later on a whim, and i love it! the trick is you have to apply VERY VERY little. bare escentuals has a how-to dvd that i watched, and a very pale girl demonstrated how she wore warmth and it looked really good on her. i'm sure there are videos also floating around youtube that'll teach you how to apply warmth. it's not a bronzer really, it's more of product that tries to give your skin a little glow and life.

There's nothing like stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new colors and techniques. I never wore this much color in my 20's as I do now in my 40's, and I only started a year ago.

Maybe the colors don't look wierd when you put them. You're probably just freakin out a lil bit since you are stepping out of your comfort zone. Although with pale skin you always need to be light on the bright colors and choose things that you can build up the intensity. Start off sheer and slowly work your way up until you get a bit used to it. Practice and look up new techniques!!

With Warmth, or any color similar.... use just a few specks to start with. It is meant to really go on lightly and just add the "hint" of sun on your skin.

Yes, I think you would find that there are so many ways to use mmu, that if you just play and experiment you would love most of them.

I feel the same way, Polaroidscene. Although I'm just starting on MMU. I'm getting up my courage to try bolder colors.

I never had much luck with the warmth, even when I applied very little. But I think could be as others have mentioned, just that you're out of your comfort zone. Do you have someone that would give you an honest opinion about your new colors?
