Smile Itchy feeling!!!

Hi I bought BE to try it because i have rosacea and they recommended for me since is mineral and is supposed to be good for your skin, but i seems that every time I use it i experience a weird tingling itchy sensation and I just have to run and take it off or my skin will be red and almost look like a have a rash from hives anyone knows why this occur???

Re: itchy feeling!!!

Yes. more than likely it is the bismuth - the first MMU I tried was BE and it made my face itch like crazy, worse in hot weather. I have never used another MMU with bismuth since then, and my face has never itched!

Re: Itchy feeling!!!

As the other ladies said, lots of people itch from the ingredients in BE. Some woman have also said that certain brushes can make them itch. I think the theory with the brushes is that if the brushes are not super soft and you have sensitive skin they can cause little scratches that allow the makeup to get into and cause itching and burning. In my experience BE brushers are pretty scratchy, that may contribute to the problem if you are using them.

You may want to try sampling some other mineral companies, who don’t use Bismuth Oxychloride in their products. I’m sure you will find one that is great on your skin.

Did you purchase the BE from someplace you can return it? It may be worth a try to tell them you have had a reaction and can’t use it.

Re: Itchy feeling!!!

BE causes a lot of people to experience that itchy feeling. I think you should sample different online brands without the bismuth.

Hi bebe,,,its good to always ask questions and find out from here. Here the ladies are very helpful. There are alot of subject abt this product maybe you wanna search and read further. You shld try many other diff brands of MM...when you sample them than you will know how much they suit you and beautify you. I rec some MM companies which I like...fyrinnae, lauress, dreamworld, classy minerals, LA minerals, joppa...
I have sample and some works for me and some don't. Just my 2 cents : try to get samples not in full coverage, start off with the lighter coverage ones...so far they dun breakout so much and the ingredients in it are much lesser than the full coverage one. Good luck in your sampling dearie.

Re: Itchy feeling!!!

Be was also the first mineral makeup that I tried. I loved the finish but it made me itch real bad. It must be the bismuth.
