LaurEss Sale

I was just browsing on the LaurEss forum (ok, I admit it I have been stalking there since I saw they were preparing for a sale) and they are having an AWESOME sale. For anyone who has held off ordering because of the price, get thee to LaurEss! the details are on their news page (click on the sale box on the homepage) or you can read their newsletter. I got this link off their forum so if you can't use it check out the announcement on the LaurEss forum. I am going to start a cart

Re: LaurEss Sale

Hey makeupbabe,

I just ordered samples of the newest heavy coverage foundation (I use the minimalist). Have you tried it yet? If you (or anybody else) have input I would appreciate it. I want to place a full size order before the sale ends, but even though my package shipped today I might not have time to use it (to see if I like it) before the sale ends. TIA!

Re: LaurEss Sale

I have used the Ethereal and I love it! I am not into heavy coverage foundations, but I definitely have areas that need extra concealing. I use the Ethereal to conceal my red acne marks and top with the Minimalist and it is PERFECT! I haven't tried a full face with the Ethereal yet, but I will have to give it a try now that I can get the full size Ethereal cheap!

Re: LaurEss Sale

I've never ordered from this company. I am currently very happy with my Dream World foundation and toppings, but would love to sample some shadows and blushes. What does everyone recommend. Also do their samples come in jars or baggies?

The samples come in shrink-wrapped jars that are nicely arranged on a piece of cardboard, and then the whole thing is shrink wrapped, so the jars won't jostle around or leak durring shipment.....*very* nice and professional, if you ask me!

I just ordered about 20 e/s samples myself. Its not like I need anymore...what with all TSS e/s I have, but LaurEss seems to have some really nice browns and taupes....colors that I can't find at TSS.....so I guess its time to make more room on my e/s shelf. Yay!

Re: LaurEss Sale

Thanks for pointing out the sale! I've sampled LaurEss Elemental before and liked it, but the coverage was a bit too light for my not-so-great skin days. I actually ordered a full size of the Minimalist foundation last month without even sampling, [that's how much faith I have in the greatness of LaurEss, LOL] and I love it I use Subtle Ivory by the way, and it matches wonderfully. Gentle Ivory is good too, but a tiny bit light for my skin in summer I think.

I was kinda disappointed, because I ordered literally the day before the Ethereal came out, and I wanted to try it! But now with this sale, I got a couple samples of the Ethereal, a full size lipgloss in Sassy [probably the most awesome natural lipgloss I've tried so far], and a couple other lipgloss samples as well. I love sales... and LaurEss shipping to Canada is awesome, less than $2.00! Plus it arrives usually within a week and a half.

Definitely take advantage of this great sale and try out LaurEss if you haven't already!

Re: LaurEss Sale

Arrgghhh! I do not need more blushes. I do not need more eye shadows. Even if the shipping to Canada is quick and cheap and those are some gorgeous colours...

They look great, and I may cave. Though the amount of minerals already over-running the house is downright scary

Sound very nice. I too love taupes. I just took advantage of Dream World's Fairy Sale and am looking forward to her Christmas in July sale that starts next week, so I don't really need anything, but I love taupe eyeshadows and also love lippies. How do Lauress lippies compare to Dreamworld's, Silk Naturals, and Lumiere's?

I've been waiting for this sale for a long time and it's a real good one. Got myself the kit of FS foundation, FP and enhancer. I really love the Minimalist formula and it's one of my HG's.

Re: LaurEss Sale

makeupbabe - thanks so much for that advice. I, too, need certain areas to be more covered.

egyptomaniac - yes I'm a taupe/brown girl too and LOVE the e/s! And you'll be so surprised at the wonderful quality of her e/s when you try them. I usually apply mine dry, and apply wet for a great eye liner.

kitchykoo - I really like the Sun Radiance Bronzers. They add a nice sun-kissed glow. Check out the forum about blush colors LaurEss Community

Has anyone tried their kabuki brush? I am so tempted to order one.
