I just got into mineral makeup, obviously there are tons of mineral makeup companeys out there. so i was thinking of making a list of my own, which will summerize what each company has to offer (shipping rate, samples and such) all from the list here. Mineral sites

But then i realized it could take me FOREVER, and then i thought about maybe forming it together with you. Say, each girl checks the sites starting at a specific letter, and send it to me and i will edit it to a wonderfull document. what do you say?

I think that's why that list was made so you could just click on it to get any info you were looking for. It would be extremely difficult to expand that list to include all of the info you are speaking of. If you read through the posts there is probably mention of that type of info. But I encourage you to gather any info you like and maybe you can then submit it to one of the mods to see if they would include it in the sticky.

well, maybe i'll explain it better: When i first saw all this sites i was really overwhelmed, and did not know where to start. I spent lots of my time on trying to find out whether they have samples that they sell seperatley, whether they ship internationally. some sites offer international shipping on outragous price (20 dollar), which if i'd known of, i wouldn't even enter the site, let alone exploring it. The second thing - it is really important for me to know wha sites offer samples ans on what price. again, if i'd known that they don't i would not have enter their site.

Yes I understand what you are saying.

I guess my point is to go ahead and start gathering info and see if someone else is willing to help you. We mods like to have things easily accessible for all of us on MUT. In fact, I'll actually bring it up to the other mods and get their input for you. anything that is attached to a sticky has to be approved by the administrators but I think it's a good idea.

I had the same idea and I have made a list for non-us mmu addicts:
Mineral Makeup brands & Shipping info - Vox
It is mainly the same brands as on the Mineral List, but with more info.

that is a good idea, but i wonder too how we could make that information as clear as possible for all the MuTers.

I have tried in the past to add country info and shipping. But, given the size of the list, it quickly became hard to read. If you have any ideas then we'd love to know.

i made i chart with all the things that i'm talking about. So it would be a pattern.. it should not be that complecated but it does take some time. I attached the first page, so you could pretty much see what i mean.

Great list! I made something similar except I listed it in terms of which company has yellow shades, light shades, free samples etc... to narrow it down for the newbie. I didnt list ones that didnt ship international. I would like to start a list for overseas minerals.

I tried to post it here several times but I guess it was too big so it would just hang and not submit. If anyone has any ideas on how I can submit it that would be great.

I can't even begin to tell my fellow MUTers how much I spend on MMU! Another list might put me over the edge! LOL!
