Lily Lolo
Any opinions on this brand? I'm thinking of placing a sample order but haven't noticed this brand mentioned very often. Perhaps it's because they are in the UK. Shipping actually does not look expensive considering the distance to the USA.

well, the price is 12 in pounds - I used an online currency converter and it came to 24 USD. So in my estimation it's a little expensive? That's for 12 gm in a 30 gm jar. BUT - the shipping looks very reasonable though. For the largest international order (201 gms plus) it is 4 in pounds which would be about 8 US. There are US companies who've charged me more than that for shipping! and I live in the continental US (LOL).
I live in the US and I've never bought from a MMU company that's not in the US. I'm kind of afraid to (I know, I know.... LOL) Are there customs issues and duties and etc here like people buying internationally from the US talk about?

Re: Lily Lolo
I had samples in four different colors, and for me (neutral/yellowtoned, definitely not pink), they were all far too yellow. Also, I didn't like the chalky finish, plus that they felt a bit rough-grained and not silky like other MMUs that I've tried.

Re: Lily Lolo
i've got some es samples, I like the "golden liliac",wich is one of my fav shadows ever, but I think that the others (cream soda, parma violet, african violet and some others wich I don't remember right now) are very hard to apply expecially when wet.
Plus I think they are pretty expensive, and they don't send to Italy anymore if your order is less than 35pounds in value.

Re: Lily Lolo
really ? that's weird because they feel great on my skin.
anyway, yes, converted the full size foundation costs 24 US dollars. it's a 10g jar, so it's really up to you if you want to order it or not. a sample costs 0.99£ (2US$), maybe try some first ? maybe some eyeshadows, they're great. i love Sticky toffee.
for the shipping you will pay 1.50£, that's what i paid too, and IMO it's not that expensive. besides, i got my full size products (foundation, powder, eyeshadow, concealer) pretty quickly.

Re: Lily Lolo
everyone is raving about the golden lilac so I went and looked at it - that is so pretty!
I have light brown/hazel eyes - I bet I would love that. I also looked at the Sticky Toffee and I like that too.
1.50 (3 US) for shipping especially international is VERY reasonable!

i didn't know that, that sucks !
i've never tried applying Cream Soda wet, i use it to cover my blue discolorations in the inner corner and as a base on my eyelids to cover also some little blue veins.

If you want to convert from pounds to dollars you can write like:
"10 pounds in dollars" in goolge searcher and it will display the convert.
