Looking for Lumiere matches

I'm currently using Lumiere in a 50/50 mix of golden and light-beige. I really hate to mix and am trying to find a foundation that provides the same pore minimizing look and coverage of the Lumiere. I thought I would ask here first. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. It would be too costly and time consuming to have to sample from every mineral company out there to find a match.

I got all the sample types of Lumiere. I got them in Light Neutral and Light Medium Neutral. They are a little lighter than normal on the VV and FF. The luminess runs darker than VV or FF. I have found that I thought I wore warm colors (I did in liquid). I have found that neutrals are a much better match. The Light Medium is almost perfect for me. I think I could do the Medium in VV and FF. The Light Medium in Luminess was right on. If you are leaning toward lights in golden and beige I bet the Light neutral or even the Light Medium might work out for you.

Re: Looking for Lumiere matches

I have my match in the Lumiere. What I'm looking for is suggestions of other brands to try that will provide the same look and coverage as the Lumiere.

Do you know that you can get both colors for $28 in fullsize at Lumiere with the two foundation special? Basically you'll get your foundation for $14. May be cheaper than sampling. You could premix it and then just put back in sifter jars. I wouldn't know your match in other companies but maybe someone else will.

which Luminesse formula were you using/liking? All three have different coverage and finish so you would have to specify which formula you were using to get the maximum benefits of great advice the girls here on MUT can give you . If you were using the VV, EDM makes an "intensive" formula which is pretty good in terms of coverage and it has a matte-finish similar to the VV. Signature Minerals makes a foundation that offers pretty good buildable coverage with a matte-finish, they only offer that one formula. Alot of girls here seem to like OceanMist, J.Lynne, Valerie, Monave, Milan...gosh there are just so many to list...back to the point, what formula were you using? HTH, good luck!
